This double layer equipment belongs to double-layer roof tile roll forming machine under Roof Panel Roll Forming Machine series. One machine is equipped with two independent forming roller sets, capable of producing two different metal roof panels simultaneously. Clients can freely combine trapezoidal sheets, corrugated sheets, glazed tiles or IBR sheets for upper and lower layers to meet global construction market demands. It replaces two single-layer roll formers, greatly cutting equipment investment and saving factory floor space, making it a cost-effective core model for small & medium overseas metal sheet factories. It can form a full automatic production line matched with metal coil uncoiler.
The machine base frame is integrally welded with thick steel plates and treated by high-temperature stress relief annealing to eliminate internal welding stress, so there will be no vibration or frame deformation during long-term synchronous high-speed heavy-load double-layer operation. All upper and lower forming rollers are precisely machined from solid 45# carbon steel with quenched thick hard chrome plating, featuring high hardness, wear and rust resistance without scratching the coating of color steel, galvanized or aluzinc sheets. Multi-stage progressive rolling forms two profiles synchronously in one pass, sheets are flat with tight interlocking joints for reliable waterproof and anti-corrosion performance. It processes thin metal coils from 0.3mm to 0.7mm thick, standard feeding width 1000/1250mm, roller profiles can be customized according to local market standards of different countries.
Equipped with dual-station variable frequency main motor and heavy-duty synchronous double chain transmission, the machine runs smoothly with low noise, and forming speed can be steplessly adjusted from 7 m/min to 16 m/min. Multiple guiding limit rollers and manual deviation adjusting mechanism at feeding inlet automatically correct steel strip offset to reduce defective waste. Two independent hydraulic flying shear cutting units are installed at the tail to cut sheets of two layers separately, cemented carbide cutters deliver burr-free smooth cutting surfaces with dimensional tolerance limited within ±1mm. The suspended integrated PLC touch screen control system allows separate setting of production length and output quantity for two layers. The machine automatically completes feeding, double-layer synchronous forming, fixed-length cutting and counting without extra labor. Only one worker can realize 24-hour non-stop continuous production with doubled efficiency, saving labor cost effectively.
Every double-layer roll forming machine undergoes a 72-hour full-coil continuous test before delivery to calibrate synchronous forming precision and cutting tolerance. A full set of spare forming rollers, hydraulic sealing parts, Chinese-English bilingual operation drawings and manuals are provided as standard accessories.
