Double-layer roll forming machine
This double-layer roll forming machine belongs to Double-layer roll forming machine branch of Roof Panel Roll Forming Machine series, integrated dual-deck cold bending equipment with upper and lower roller sets. It can produce two different profiles of color steel roof tiles separately or simultaneously. Common combinations include corrugated + trapezoidal tile, glazed + trapezoidal tile. One machine replaces two single-layer roll formers to greatly save factory space and equipment investment cost, widely adopted by small & medium building material factories and mobile on-site tile forming projects. Finished sheets are used for roof cladding of workshops, warehouses and rural buildings.
The machine adopts heavy gantry frame integrally welded with thick steel plates, treated by high-temperature stress relief annealing to eliminate deformation stress. Dual roller decks run synchronously without vibration, with independent adjustment for upper and lower rollers to guarantee precise rib height and sheet width for both profiles. All forming rollers are precision turned solid 45# carbon steel with hard chrome plating after surface quenching for superior wear & rust resistance, processing color coated & galvanized coils 0.3–0.8mm thick. Separate multi-stage progressive bending roller stands for upper and lower decks fully form corresponding tile profiles in one feeding pass, scratch-free sheets without bending cracks, tight overlap for reliable waterproof performance. Two profile combinations can be fully customized per client demand.
Equipped with dual variable frequency synchronous chain transmission, upper and lower decks feature independent speed control, forming speed steplessly adjustable from 7 m/min to 20 m/min. Dual manual deviation correction structures at feeding inlet center upper & lower steel strips separately to reduce edge waste. Dual-station hydraulic cutting unit at tail with two independent cutting knives delivers clean burr-free cuts for each profile, finished length tolerance ≤±1mm. Integrated PLC touch screen control system stores two independent tile profile recipes for one-click production switching, automatically completing dual-path feeding, double-deck roll forming, separate fixed-length cutting and yield counting. Only one operator can realize 24-hour non-stop alternating production of two tile types.
Every double-deck tile roll former undergoes a 72-hour dual-layer synchronous full-coil endurance test before delivery to calibrate rib arc, sheet width and cutting tolerance for both decks. Complete double-set spare forming rollers, cutting blades, hydraulic sealing parts and bilingual machine operation & maintenance manuals are supplied as standard accessories.
