This keel roll forming machine is categorized under Light Gauge Steel Roll Forming Machine, dedicated cold bending equipment for light steel profiles. It automatically produces light steel keels for ceiling and partition walls, including main keels, cross keels, U-type & hat-type partition keels. The machine base frame is integrally welded with thick channel steel and steel plates, treated by high-temperature stress relief annealing after welding to eliminate internal welding stress. The slender frame runs vibration-free without deformation during long-term continuous high-speed forming, guaranteeing consistent straightness and cross-section size of keels. All forming rollers are precisely machined from solid 45# carbon steel with quenched thick hard chrome plating, wear and rust resistant without damaging anti-corrosion coating of 0.4–1.2mm galvanized & aluzinc strips. Multi-stage progressive bending roller stands form standard keel snap grooves in one pass with high interlock precision for firm assembly on construction sites. Keel width and height can be quickly adjusted to produce various universal keel sizes for residential and commercial decoration.
Equipped with variable frequency main motor and synchronous chain transmission, the machine runs smoothly with low noise, forming speed steplessly adjustable from 8 m/min to 20 m/min. Manual deviation correction bracket at feeding inlet easily centers steel strips to reduce defective waste. Hydraulic cutting unit at the tail delivers stable cutting force for burr-free smooth cuts, finished length tolerance controlled within ±1mm. Suspended cantilever PLC touch screen control system allows presetting keel length and total output quantity. The machine automatically completes feeding, roll forming, fixed-length cutting and counting without extra labor. Only one worker can realize 24-hour non-stop continuous production, greatly cutting labor cost.
Every keel forming machine undergoes a 72-hour full-coil continuous test before delivery to calibrate forming section and cutting tolerance.
