Overview & High-Velocity Electrical Infrastructure Manufacturing

The XINNUO High-Speed Gearbox-Driven Cable Tray Roll Forming Machine represents a state-of-the-art industrial manufacturing solution engineered for continuous, high-precision fabrication of perforated and solid-bottom cable management trays, electrical trunking, and ladder raceways. Designed to satisfy the rigorous technical requirements of commercial infrastructure, high-tech semiconductor fabs, mega data centers, chemical processing plants, and marine shipbuilding, this high-velocity cold roll forming line achieves continuous operating speeds of up to 40 meters per minute (40 m/min). Processing galvanized steel, pre-painted iron, cold-rolled carbon steel, and stainless steel strip (0.8 mm to 2.0 mm thickness), Hebei Xinnuo delivers turnkey production systems that combine rapid motorized width changeovers, superior return-flange forming rigidity, zero zinc-coating flaking, and unmatched dimensional repeatability across long production runs.

Heavy-Duty Chassis & Cantilever Stand Construction

To withstand the dynamic stresses of high-speed roll forming and provide rapid adaptability across diverse tray dimensions (bottom width 100 mm to 600 mm, sidewall height 50 mm to 100 mm with inbound locking return lips), the machine utilizes an ultra-rigid H-beam bed foundation reinforced with stress-relieved steel plates. The forming line employs dual-sided independent cantilever archway stands. The bottom bed is densely fitted with low-friction polyurethane support rollers to prevent central sheet sagging while ensuring mar-free bottom surface preservation. The forming tooling integrates 18 to 26 progressive rolling stations machined from premium Cr12MoV or GCr15 vacuum-quenched alloy tool steel (HRC 58–62) with a 0.05 mm hard chrome mirror plating. Solid alloy steel shafts (Φ75 mm–Φ85 mm) undergo high-frequency induction hardening, quenching, tempering, and fine cylindrical grinding to hold dynamic runout tolerances within ±0.02 mm.

High-Torque Gearbox Transmission & Pneumatic Feeding Alignment

Unlike conventional chain-and-sprocket systems prone to backlash and chain stretch at high line speeds, this machine features a distributed bevel-gear gearbox transmission architecture. Individual heavy-duty gearboxes with hardened spiral bevel gears deliver synchronized, high-torque power directly to each rolling station without rotational slippage or vibration harmonics. The front entry unit integrates a pneumatic auto-feeder combined with multi-roller cross-axis leveler guides and lateral edge-centering correction blocks. This configuration maintains millimeter-precise coil alignment into the initial forming passes, eliminating raw strip drifting, asymmetrical edge heights, and torsional twisting during high-speed continuous feeding.

Automated Motorized Width Adjustment & Smart PLC Automation

The entire production line features full motorized or PLC-programmable width adjustment via high-precision linear guide rails and synchronized double-lead ball screws. Operators can switch between 100 mm, 200 mm, 300 mm, 400 mm, 500 mm, and 600 mm cable tray widths directly from the touchscreen interface in under 3 minutes without swapping forming rollers. Governed by a top-tier Siemens or Mitsubishi industrial PLC architecture and an ergonomic swivel-arm color touch-screen HMI, the system synchronizes uncoiler speed, pneumatic punching units, roll forming velocity, and hydraulic or servo flying shear cutting. Dual high-resolution rotary optical encoders ensure finished piece length tolerances within ±1.0 mm per standard 3000 mm section, while comprehensive protective interlocks and yellow steel safety mesh enclosures guarantee maximum factory operator protection.
