Automatic C Purlin Roll Forming Machine
This automatic C purlin roll forming machine belongs to C/Z Purlin Roll Forming Machine series, designed with quick size adjustment without roller replacement. It continuously manufactures load-bearing C channel purlins for steel workshops, photovoltaic supports and storage greenhouses. Operators can switch sizes from C80 to C300 with one click without disassembling full roller sets, drastically shortening mold change downtime, ideal for factories with multi-size bulk purlin orders.
The machine frame is integrally welded with thick H-beam steel and stress-relieved by high-temperature annealing after welding, avoiding vibration and deformation during long heavy-load high-speed production to guarantee straightness and precise cross-section of C purlins. All forming rollers are precision-machined solid 45# carbon steel with quenched thick hard chrome plating, wear and rust resistant without damaging anti-corrosion coating on galvanized & aluzinc coils. Multi-stage progressive bending roller stands integrate on-line hydraulic punching stations to punch mounting holes synchronously during forming, eliminating secondary punching procedures and boosting production efficiency. It processes hot-dip galvanized coils 1.2–3.0mm thick, height, web width and flange size adjusted electrically via CNC without manual die replacement.
Equipped with high-power variable frequency main drive and heavy-duty synchronous chain transmission, the machine delivers strong load capacity and quiet operation, forming speed stepless adjustable from 6 m/min to 15 m/min. Servo automatic deviation corrector at inlet realigns steel strips to reduce waste. Dual-cylinder servo hydraulic flying shear at the tail produces clean burr-free cuts with finished length tolerance ≤±0.5mm. Independent suspended cantilever PLC touch screen stores multiple profile parameter recipes for one-click size switching. The machine automatically completes feeding, roll forming, on-line punching, fixed-length cutting and counting. Only one operator is required for 24-hour non-stop production, saving labor and downtime cost during size change.
Every quick-change C purlin machine undergoes a 72-hour full-load coil test before delivery to calibrate forming section, punching position and cutting tolerance.
