Angle Seam Machine
This angle seam ridge cap machine belongs to roof panel accessory roll forming equipment, specially designed to produce metal ridge caps for roof peak sealing. Installed on the joint of two roof sheets, ridge caps deliver rainwater blocking and decorative functions, compatible with trapezoidal tiles, glazed tiles and standing seam panels, available for color steel and Al-Mg-Mn alloy raw materials.
The machine frame is integrally welded with thick channel steel and stress-relieved by annealing after welding to eliminate deformation stress. Multi-pass progressive roller bending forms V-shaped ridge angles, bending angle and cap width digitally adjustable. All forming rollers are precision turned 45# steel with hard chrome plating after quenching for excellent wear & rust resistance, processing color coated, galvanized and Al-Mg-Mn thin strips 0.4–0.9mm thick. The line integrates feeding, multi-stage angle bending and tail fixed-length cutting, completing full ridge cap profiles in one feeding stroke, scratch-free sheet surface with uniform bending gaps and tight joint fit to avoid rain backflow.
Equipped with variable frequency synchronous chain transmission, the machine runs smoothly with low noise, forming speed steplessly adjustable from 7 m/min to 19 m/min. Manual deviation corrector at feeding inlet easily centers steel strips to reduce edge waste. Vertical hydraulic cutting unit at tail produces clean burr-free cuts, finished length tolerance ≤±1mm. Compact PLC touch screen control system stores multiple sets of ridge cap angle parameter recipes, automatically completing feeding, angle roll forming, fixed-length cutting and yield counting. Only one operator can realize 24-hour non-stop continuous production.
Every ridge cap forming machine undergoes a 72-hour full-coil endurance test before delivery to calibrate bending angle, cap width and cutting tolerance.
