Product Overview
This compact mini metal coil slitting line is a small integrated slitting and rewinding production line, designed for small-scale metal processing factories and roll forming supporting workshops. It completes automatic uncoiling, multi-strip slitting and finished coil rewinding in one compact unit, cutting wide master metal coil into multiple narrow uniform-width strips.
Suitable raw materials include 0.3–2.5mm hot-dip galvanized steel, color coated steel and aluminum alloy coils. The whole line occupies less workshop space than standard heavy slitting lines, with lower investment cost, ideal auxiliary equipment matching roof tile, purlin and gutter roll forming machines.
Full Line Composition
- Manual / hydraulic uncoiler: light-duty coil loading rack to hold original metal coil, optional hydraulic expansion type for heavy coils.
- Feeding guide device: straightens strip and guides material into slitting head without deviation.
- Main slitting unit: high-hardness alloy circular slitting knives, adjustable knife spacing to set different finished strip widths. Clean burr-free cutting edge without sheet deformation.
- Tension separator: keeps constant tension between cut strips to avoid overlapping and wrinkling.
- Recoiler mandrel: rewinds narrow finished strips into neat compact small coils for easy storage and feeding to forming machines.
The machine base frame is integrally welded by thick square tubes and channel steel, processed with stress relief annealing to eliminate welding deformation, ensuring stable low-vibration operation during continuous slitting. All slitting rollers and cutter sleeves are precision turned solid 45# carbon steel with full quenched hard chrome plating, featuring outstanding wear resistance and long service life.
Transmission & PLC Control System
Variable frequency chain synchronous transmission realizes adjustable line running speed from 8–25 m/min. Speed automatically follows production demand to prevent thin metal strip stretching or loose winding.
Compact mini PLC touch screen control cabinet stores multiple slitting width parameter recipes, supporting fixed-length counting, auto stop and fault self-diagnosis. Simple operation only requires one worker to monitor full line production. Overload protection and emergency stop functions are equipped for safe operation.
Hydraulic & Safety Configuration
Optional independent hydraulic power unit for uncoiler and cutting station, with heat dissipation system to prevent oil temperature overheating. All hydraulic pipelines adopt anti-aging high-pressure hoses to avoid leakage.
Side blocking baffles and safety emergency stop switches are installed on each processing station to prevent safety hazards caused by material deviation or misoperation. Multi-layer anti-rust paint spraying on the whole machine surface improves corrosion resistance for long-term workshop use.
Factory Test & After-sales Service
Every compact slitting line undergoes 72-hour continuous coil slitting test before shipment. Engineers calibrate slitting width tolerance, cutting flatness and rewinding tightness to eliminate all hidden quality issues. Complete spare circular slitting knives, sealing parts and bilingual operation & maintenance manuals are supplied as standard accessories.
We provide a 2-year full machine warranty covering all mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components. Delivery time is 50–60 days after deposit receipt.
