Overview & Automated Coil Feeding Excellence

The XINNUO Heavy-Duty Automatic Hydraulic Decoiler with Snubber Arm represents an essential upstream material handling solution engineered for smooth, continuous, and high-efficiency uncoiling of heavy metal coils. Broadly configured at the head of modern roll forming lines, high-speed slitting lines, stamping presses, and cut-to-length shearing systems, this industrial uncoiler eliminates the hazards of manual coil expansion and uncontrolled coil clock-springing. It accommodates an extensive selection of raw materials including hot-dip galvanized steel, prepainted steel (PPGI/PPGL), cold-rolled carbon steel coils, aluminum coils, and high-yield structural steel. Leveraging heavy structural steel fabrication and precise electro-hydraulic integration, Hebei Xinnuo supplies robust decoiling systems that guarantee high loading capacity, stable rotary unwinding, zero edge scratching, and automated synchronization with downstream machinery.

Ultra-Rigid Base Chassis & Hydraulic Expanding Mandrel

To safely sustain master coil loads ranging from 5,000 kg up to 10,000 kg, the machine frame is constructed from thick-walled welded structural steel channels and heavily gusseted H-beams. The main spindle shaft is forged from solid 45# carbon steel or 42CrMo alloy steel, undergoing rough machining, high-frequency quenching, tempering, and cylindrical grinding to ensure extreme bending resistance and minimal concentric runout (≤0.03 mm). The expansion mechanism incorporates a four-leaf segment wedge design linked to a heavy-duty rear hydraulic cylinder via an internal pull-rod and rotary oil distributor. The hydraulic expansion range from Φ470 mm to Φ520 mm (expandable to Φ610 mm with supplemental adapter shoes) provides continuous radial clamping force from inside the coil core, effectively eliminating coil slippage during high-speed acceleration and rapid braking.

Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Snubber Arm & Automated Loop Sensing

A signature safety and productivity feature of this unit is the top-mounted hydraulic hold-down snubber arm (pressing arm). Driven by a dedicated double-acting hydraulic cylinder, the heavy polyurethane-lined snubber wheel exerts firm downward pressure directly against the outer circumference of the steel coil. This prevents violent band popping when securing straps are cut and restrains outer wraps from loosening during intermittent high-speed feeding. At the lower front base, an integrated counterweighted loop control swing-arm sensor interfaces directly with the drive circuit. When the loose material loop drops and contacts the sensor roller, the decoiler drive automatically pauses; as the downstream forming machine pulls the strip tight, the sensor elevates and smoothly re-engages unwinding rotation, maintaining a steady material buffer without operator intervention.

Integrated Power Unit & Ergonomic Local Control Interface

The decoiler features a compact, side-mounted hydraulic power pack equipped with a high-efficiency electric motor, low-noise gear pump, precision directional control manifold, and an oil-level temperature gauge. The electrical control console is built directly onto the front housing, featuring industrial push buttons, manual/auto selector switches, forward/reverse jog controls, and a prominent emergency stop button. A variable-frequency inverter (VFD) drive paired with a cycloidal pinwheel speed reducer and heavy-duty disc brake ensures smooth starting torque, seamless variable speed tracking, and instantaneous stops without overrunning the coil.
