Automatic Steel Coil Slitting and Recoiling Production Line:

The XINNUO High-Precision Automatic Steel Coil Slitting and Recoiling Production Line represents an elite industrial sheet metal processing solution engineered for rapid, burr-free longitudinal slitting of master coils into multiple narrow strips of precise widths. Designed to meet the stringent demands of modern steel service centers, automotive stamping facilities, cold roll forming factories, and metal packaging producers, this integrated production line accommodates a broad spectrum of metallic materials including cold-rolled carbon steel, hot-dip galvanized steel, pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI/PPGL), silicon electrical steel, stainless steel, and high-tensile aluminum alloys. Built upon heavy-duty fabrication principles and micro-metric machining accuracy, Hebei Xinnuo delivers turn-key slitting installations that maintain exceptional edge straightness, minimal strip camber, zero surface scratching on delicate coatings, and uninterrupted high-speed throughput.
The standard XINNUO continuous slitting line incorporates a cohesive sequence of synchronized automated equipment:
The heart of the slitting system is the heavy-duty slitter head assembly. Fabricated from thick cast-iron archway stands and annealed steel housings, the frame completely eliminates shaft flexure under maximum shearing resistance. The upper and lower slitter arbors (diameter Φ120 mm to Φ180 mm) are forged from 42CrMo high-grade alloy steel, precision ground and dynamically balanced to maintain radial and axial runout tolerances within ≤0.005 mm. Rotary slitting blades are manufactured from vacuum-hardened high-vanadium alloy tool steels (Cr12MoV, D2, or High-Speed Steel HSS) with a certified hardness of HRC 60–63. Micrometric handwheel and worm-gear adjustment mechanisms allow operators to fine-tune blade overlap and horizontal clearance with sub-millimeter sensitivity, guaranteeing knife-edge precision and eliminating burrs across the entire coil width.
Automation is coordinated via an industrial-grade Siemens or Mitsubishi PLC platform linked to an ergonomic, swivel-arm color touch-screen HMI console. The system features advanced closed-loop vector variable-frequency drives (VFD) or digital DC drive motors that dynamically synchronize line speeds across the uncoiler, slitter arbors, loop buffer, and recoiler drum. Integrated line-speed detection and digital rotary encoders provide automatic acceleration, constant linear velocity tracking, automated deceleration at target batch counts, and precise coil-length measurement. Real-time diagnostic monitors, pneumatic interlocks, anti-collision sensors, and multiple emergency stop stations ensure fail-safe operation and compliance with CE and ISO international safety directives.
