Product Overview
This metal coil slitting line is a complete automatic metal strip processing production line, specially used for uncoiling, multi-strip slitting and rewinding of galvanized steel coil, color coated steel coil, aluminum coil and cold rolled steel coil. The whole line integrates hydraulic uncoiler, straightening device, multi-group circular slitting knife set, tension separator and hydraulic recoiler to realize one-stop continuous processing, cutting wide master coil into narrow finished strips with uniform width, neat edge and stable tension.
It is widely matched with subsequent roof tile roll forming machines, purlin forming machines, gutter machines and other cold forming equipment, and is also suitable for independent metal strip processing factories to produce customized narrow raw material strips for downstream manufacturers. The processing thickness covers 0.3–3.0mm, and the slitting width can be customized according to customers’ finished strip requirements.
Complete Line Composition & Core Structure
- Hydraulic uncoiler: heavy load hydraulic expansion four-jaw uncoiling rack, supporting 3–10 tons steel coil, automatic expansion and contraction to fix coil inner diameter, equipped with pressing arm to prevent coil spring back loose.
- Pre-leveling device: two upper + multiple lower leveling rollers eliminate coil surface camber and bending, guarantee flat strip before entering slitting station.
- Main slitting head: high-speed alloy circular slitting knives, multiple groups of knife sleeves can be freely combined to set different slitting widths, knife gap adjustable according to sheet thickness, cutting edge without burr, no material deformation. All slitting rollers are forged 45# steel with hard chrome plating for long service life.
- Tension separator & buffer pit: separates slitting strips and maintains constant tension to avoid strip overlapping, buffer pit absorbs speed difference between slitting and rewinding to protect thin metal sheets.
- Hydraulic recoiler: hydraulic expansion mandrel rewinds finished narrow strips into tight uniform small coils, with unloading trolley for easy finished coil discharge.
The whole line base frame is integrally welded by thick heavy channel steel and square tubes, after welding high-temperature stress relief annealing removes internal welding stress, the line runs smoothly without vibration under long-time full-load operation, ensuring stable slitting dimensional tolerance.
Transmission & Central PLC Control System
The main drive adopts dual variable frequency synchronous heavy chain transmission, matching large torque reduction boxes, each section’s running speed linked and automatically followed, no speed difference leading to strip pulling or wrinkling.
A centralized large touch screen PLC control cabinet manages the whole slitting line, preset slitting width, total length and coil weight parameters, supporting automatic start-stop, fault self-diagnosis, real-time speed display and production counting functions. Only one operator can monitor the entire production line to greatly reduce labor cost. Overload, coil break and emergency stop protection functions are equipped to lower operation failure risks.
Hydraulic & Safety Auxiliary System
Independent hydraulic stations are equipped for uncoiler, slitting head and recoiler respectively, with heat dissipation circulation system to avoid oil temperature overheating during long continuous working, all pipelines adopt high-pressure anti-aging hoses with zero leakage.
Safety light curtains, emergency stop buttons and coil blocking baffles are installed at each processing station to prevent safety accidents caused by misoperation. The whole line surface adopts multi-layer anti-rust paint spraying, strong corrosion resistance adapting to long-term workshop processing environment.
Factory Test & After-sales Service
Every metal coil slitting line undergoes 72-hour full-coil linkage endurance test before delivery, engineers repeatedly calibrate slitting width tolerance, edge smoothness, tension stability and rewinding compactness to eliminate all hidden quality troubles before shipment. Complete spare slitting circular knives, knife sleeves, hydraulic sealing parts, electrical accessories and bilingual English-Chinese operation & maintenance manuals are provided as standard free attachments.
We offer a 2-year full line comprehensive warranty covering all mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components. The delivery cycle is 50–60 days after receiving customer’s advance deposit. Custom three-phase industrial voltage (380V/415V/220V) is supported to fit different national power supply standards. Professional remote video installation, commissioning and full-line operation training service is available for all overseas buyers.
